Admissions

It is recommended that you submit your application well in advance of the semester you wish to attend. You will avoid long delays by making sure you send ALL required documents, taking care to complete them accurately and completely.

If you have not heard from the Admissions Office in a reasonable length of time after submitting ALL required documents, please contact the International Office and we will try to provide information regarding your admission status.

International students must provide the following items for admission:

  • A completed application form (Graduate Student: Visit Graduate School web site)

  • A completed financial declaration form certifying $22,000 for the first year of attendance

  • An official TOEFL score of 500 on paper or 173 by computer for Undergraduate and 550 on paper or 213 by computer for Graduate students (New online scores are 61 for undergraduate and 80 for graduate students as of Spring, 2007.)

  • An official copy of your high school transcript and certificate of degree (For undergraduate students)

  • An official copy of your college transcript, if you have attended college in the U.S.A. If you are transferring to EKU from a college or university in your home country, you must provide an official transcript that has been evaluated for transfer credit by the World Education Service or SILNY, Associates.


  • Tuition for academic year 2008-2009 is $8,306 per semester; Housing costs for residency in Brockton apartments is $1,921 per semester.
