Arrival Information

Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky is located 35 miles from the Lexington, Kentucky Airport. If you desire transportation to the campus, you must arrange transportation in advance by following these steps. We cannot be responsible for your transportation if you have not made arrangements in advance.

Return the enclosed arrival form by mail, fax or e-mail when you are sure of your travel plans. Let us know your arline, flight number, time of arrival and connecting city.
When you arrive at the Lexington airport call Central Cab Company in Richmond, Kentucky by dialing 859-624-8294. This will be a long distance call. You can purchase a long distance calling card from the gift shop at the airport.

The Taxi will come from Richmond to pick you up in about 45 minutes. It will not come unless you call after your arrival in Lexington. You must have $60.00 in U.S Dollars ready to pay the cab driver. After you have called, wait for the white taxi from Central Taxi Cab Company in Richmond. (Hiring a taxi cab from another company will cost $90)
